Since Florida reopened restaurants up to 25% max capacity we've eaten out twice and it did seem more expensive.
But, i didn't really study the bill before paying.
I've been ordering from restaurants almost daily since the beginning of the lockdown and there hasn't been any price gouging anywhere. Same menu prices and even better deals such as free/discounted offers. For groceries I've been ordering online from Amazon and prices are higher on most items as well as slow shipping which is taking 2-3 weeks. Not sure what's the point of having Prime shipping. As for fresh food, someone else does all the shopping so not sure about the prices.
It's like Willie says, it's in the supply chain, mainly !
For restaurants, reduced capacity will hurt !
Grocery stores should be fine, IMO ?
Not so much with restaurants..
This won't return to normal super quick !
There will be increasing violent protests if this persists much longer as the weather heats up !
I can feel for the cops that have to enforce current laws imposed by politicians
I don't want to see violence, but without getting back to semi-normal, it seems a certainty
